WooFunnels setup

This plugin is mainly developed to work on top of WooCommerce. Initially, you have to install the funnel builder plugin to start over.

If in case you have purchased the Funnel Builder+Autonami plan, you have to install the plugin along with that install its Autonami plugins: Autonami Marketing Automation and Autonami Connectors.

Funnels and Page

In order to create a new funnel, WooFunnels>Funnels>Add New.

In the above screen, you can see the funnels that are created. It has an opt-in, landing page, checkout page, upsell/downsell, and thankyou pages.

WooFunnels have a wide range of conversion-optimized templates that are available for each funnel step.

Then you can also choose your compatible page builder. Woofunnel integrates well with multiple builders like Divi, Oxygen builder, Gutenberg, and Elementor.

If you work with Elementor builder then you will have an opt-in form and opt-in popup widgets to design your page.

Then under the actions menu, you can click the ‘Enable Notification’ as Yes to send to users and admins. If you are using other external services to store the user’s data then you have to connect the form with the tool you are using. If not you can just use any ESP that comes along with the Autonami connectors.

On the opt-in page, you can add any number of custom fields to the form to grab the data from the users. You have to just drag and drop the fields that are required to add in the opt-in form.

In the WooFunnels, you can find one-step, two-step, and three-step checkout templates. You can choose the template of your own choice and assign the offered product.

On the product checkout page, you can add as many as products and can set any of the three product conditions for the product selection.

Then in the WooFunnels, there are several options for a smooth checkout:

Google Address autocompletion

Using this the users can quickly fill in their addresses. It helps to reduce the friction while entering their shipping location. There is another special feature available is to autofill the state from the zip code and country.

Multistep field preview

This option helps to preview the details the user previously entered. The users can cross-check their details before checkout.

Prefill form for abandoned users

This is one of the best options for abandoned users, if the users come back again for products, they can directly select products and checkout without refilling the form.

An additional feature is that you can generate a custom URL to checkout. For example, you are conducting a webinar and at the end of the session, you wish to give an offer. If you just drop the checkout URL, those who are interested can just click the URL directly and checkout instantly.

Time Checkout Expiry

This option enables to set the expiry of the checkout page after certain sales or at a particular date. It is used for generating scarcity during time-sensitive campaigns.

Then in the WooFunnels, you can add multiple order bumps, upsells, and downsells.

For example, let’s add two bump offers on the checkout page.

You can easily design and customize the content, style, and skin of the order bumps and can preview it in the sidebar. Its not required to enter the product details again, its just that use merge tags like {product_short_description}, {subscription_summary} to enter the details.

Using shortcodes you can even add quantity and variable selectors — {quantity_incrementor} and {variation_attribute_html}.

You can even add product images so that users will have an idea of how the product actually looks.

There are multiple style options that let you customize the arrow, border, box, and title. You can even change the background color of the product title, padding, text, enable the addition of arrows and animation, etc.

Note: If you have multiple bumps you will be wondering which order bumps to the display first. It’s based on the priority to set.

WooFunnels has an option named priority field. So when the multiple order bump conditions are met together, the one with the highest priority will be displayed first.

Then the next one is ordered bump position. It’s completely your option to choose where to display it above or below the order summary, or above or below the payment gateways. The only drawback is that you can rearrange the order bumps. If you have to change the order bumps then you have manually delete and add them by creating from scratch.

Next, let’s get into WooFunnels upsells and downsells

When you are creating any new offer, then you have to select whether you will offer upsell or downsell.

This actually makes your tasks simple, if you just add the discount rates and shipping rates, it automatically calculates the offer price and displays it right there.

Dynamic Shipping

Enable the dynamic shipping check box to charge the users separately for the shipping of this item. The cost will be calculated on the fly based on your store’s configuration and shown to the users by clicking accept. Any flat shipping chargers set will be overridden by dynamic shipping.

Dynamic Offer Path

This option sets a path for the acceptance or rejection of the current offer(upsell). For example, if the offer is accepted, then you are redirecting your customers to the downsell path, otherwise lead them to the thankyou page.

The other options available are you can enable the tracking code, ask for confirmation each and every time when a user accepts the offer, then you can set the maximum quantity while purchasing upsells, and also choose to terminate the funnel.

If the user accepts upsell/downsell, then you will have an option to either create a new order or you can merge it with the main order, set the priority(same as order bumps), show the prices with taxes, and add the tracking code to run on the upsell/downsell offer, and customize the upsell confirmation message.

Just by adding the tracking adding, it is easy to analyze the customer’s data who are interested in the offer. With the help of this data, you can even send them the campaign offerings for similar products.

 Thankyou page

It is quite simple to design the thankyou pages just by using the available templates or can build right from the scratch. You have an option to add rules to trigger the thankyou page.

Then after the thankyou page, it’s up to you to redirect your customers to any of the custom pages. You can even add custom CSS or external scripts.

Custom fields

Just like other sales funnel builders, WooFunnels also allows you to add custom form fields. Here you can add any custom fields you required to collect the user’s information.

Rule Engine

Just by triggering the rules, you will be able to show different order bumps.

Compared to other funnel builders, in WooFunnels you can trigger more rules to show the offer.

You can add as many rules as you wish. Here for instance we added two rules to show the order bumps. You can even set the rules to multiple AND or OR conditions. If the multiple conditions set satisfy multiple order bumps, then the one with the highest priority will be displayed.

It’s also possible to set the rules for upsell offers. Based on the product, product tag, and category you can show the products.

Canvas Mode

Compared to other sales funnel builders, the WooFunnels canvas mode is more robust. Here you can view the funnels easily in the form of flowcharts along with their stats like revenue, visits, conversions, etc.

When you click on each funnel step you will be able to see the detailed metrics.

The above screenshot is the analytics of the opt-in page. It represents in a graph format it gives insights on contacts generated, views, and conversion stats.

You can easily view the funnel flow paths for upsell acceptance and rejection in canvas mode. When there are complex funnels, then you will really feel the worth of canvas mode.

Split testing

In WooFunnels you can easily split test the sales pages, one-click upsells, opt-in pages, checkout, and thankyou pages. In order to set the traffic distribution, you have to create the variant page either from the original page or you have to select from the template.

Autonami(Automation Builder+CRM+Email Marketing)

Compared to all other funnel builders, WooFunnels stand out from the crowd just because of the automation builder in the name Autonami.

Let’s have a look at how Autonami works

Autonami is the best automation plugin for WordPress which is self-hosted automation, CRM plugin, and email marketing. This plugin doesn’t limit the number of contacts you manage. Also using this plugin you can create any number of automation, and send unlimited campaigns and broadcasts.

Automation

Now let’s create a cart abandonment automation.

Then you have to select an event for the automation to startup. Let’s simply select the WooCommerce cart abandoned event. If you want to tact the automation performance then just enable the conversions.

If you want to set the automation flow, then you can either add direct actions or Yes/No conditional actions. For instance, let’s send them an abandoned cart email.

Using the WordPress editor you can easily customize the email and then you can launch the Autonami editor. Autonami is a drag and drop editor.

In order to get insights into the visitors and know the source of traffic you are getting from, you can add UTM parameters.

Once after abandoning the cart, an automated email is sent to the visitors within a particular time.  If the visitor’s cart contains coupons, then a message is sent to them to checkout now to avail of the coupons for huge savings. If they don’t have a coupon, then we have to create one for them to reduce the cart abandonment.

Then under the carts, you will have the data on recoverable, recovered, and lost carts. You will get all this data only if you enable cart track in the Autonami cart settings.

When you enable the cart tracking the work of Autonami is to capture all the buyer’s email and cart details lively. There are certain options to set the waiting period to mark the cart as recoverable, lost cart to mark the cart as lost if the order is not recovered within the particular day set.

And also cool off period to exclude cart tracking, add tags when the cart is abandoned, can send the GDPR consent notice, enable tracking for logged-in users when the product is added to the cart, etc.

With WooFunnels you can easily analyze the performance of your automation with engagement and orders.

With the help of the automation feature, you will be able to identify whether an email was sent or not if the email was opened if any click was made if revenue was generated and if the customer was successfully converted. You can click on the orders to see the purchased items, contact details, and revenue.

You have an option to export and duplicate the automation as well.

Broadcasts

You will be able to send the announcements or one-off newsletters to your audience with Woofunnel broadcasts.

First of all, you have to enter the broadcast name and select the contacts that you wish to send. If in case you want to split test the broadcast emails, then you can do it by using the A/B test.

If you go for the split test, then it allows you to create two variants for your test.

You have an option to create the emails as well and save them as templates for future use.

There are more features available in WooFunnels

You can track the sources and metrics by appending the UTM parameters to email links.

Then you can also schedule the broadcasts to send later, or resend them to those who haven’t opened yet.

Under the analytics tab, you will be able to see all the analytics of your campaigns. You will be able to see various metrics like open rate, click rate, revenue, sent conversions, etc.

Contacts

Under the contacts menu, you will find a list of all the users on your website, including their email, tags, lists and funnels, total order they have made so far, last contacted date and time, their last order, etc.

Just by clicking the contact menu, you will be able to see all the information about the customers. You also have an option to create new custom fields to add all those information.

The audience is one of the notable features of WooFunnels. This feature allows you to create an audience segment based on their contact details, engagement, purchases, etc.

For instance, let’s create a newsletter audience. Now what happens is that all the users who are tagged in with Newsletter are segmented into this group. So if we send any newsletter broadcast, then we can select this audience segment in order to reduce our task.

There are also filters available to view a specific group of audiences and segment them.

Integrations(Autonami Connectors)

WooFunnels have a wide range of integrations with the best CRM and messaging platforms such as HubSpot, Twillo, Keap, MailerLite, etc. If you have to send SMSs to contact then you have to connect Autonami to Twillo.

You can also connect Autonami with Google Spreadsheets to enter all the WooCommerce-related data. You can even export them for analysis.

If you want to get started with it first and foremost have to get a token for the connection done.

In the below screenshot you will be able to see the list of integrations available in WooFunnels.

One drawback of WooFunnels is that it lacks in membership feature, but you can easily integrate with Wishlist members in order to turn your WordPress website into a membership website.

If you wish to build an affiliate program then you can choose the AffiliateWP integration.

If you wish to create courses, then it allows you to integrate with LMS platforms such as LifterLMS, TutorLMS, and LearnDash, which is easy to sell your courses through funnels.

WooFunnels is integrated with 15+ payment gateway processors such as Stripe, Mollie, Authorize.Net CIM, Braintree, SagePay, PayPal, and much more.

Reporting and Analysis

Under the funnel analytics tab, you will be able to see the performance of funnels with various metrics like contacts, visits, order bumps, orders, total revenue, upsells, AOV, and much more. And also you can compare the previous month/year funnels performance with the current month/year.

You will also be able to view the analytics like views, revenue, conversions, and conversions rate for each funnel page.

You can even integrate WooFunnels with Google Analytics, Pinterest, Facebook Pixels, Google Ads, and Snapchat. In order to integrate you have to configure WooFunnels>>Settings. Here you have to enter your pixel ID and enable the events you wish to track.

Then if you wish to tract the UTMs, you need to manually enable them under WooFunnels>>Settings>>Track UTMs.
